Volunteer
BCS is entirely run and managed by volunteers, who generously give their time to help those in crisis. We are always interested in hearing from those who want to get involved.
There are many ways you can contribute:
- Our Board of Directors provide overall strategy and oversight of the foundation.
- Our Committee Members provide specific functions in relief, communications, and finance.
We are looking for volunteers! Details of the roles we need can be found on Idealist.
If you are interested in volunteering with us, please email volunteer@britishcharitablesociety.org with your resume and a short cover letter outlining your interest in the work of BCS and suitability for any particular role.
Donate
Being entirely volunteer-run, every dollar donated to the British Charitable Society goes to helping those in need. If you want to support us in our vital work, you can donate by PayPal or card via the button below. For other methods of donation such as check or planned giving, please email treasurer@britishcharitablesociety.org.
Matching Contributions
Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match charitable contributions made by their employees. Please ask if your company has a matching gift policy. If they do, just email the matching gift form to treasurer@britishcharitablesociety.org with your contribution and we will do the rest.
